![]() All tutorial areas have been redone for the hack but still feature the same tutorial. Additionally Mumbo has moved into Spiral Mountain. So lots of areas have been “repaired” but you can still clearly see the damage that was done. Spiral Mountain has been adjusted to match how it would appear after Banjo Tooie (see the Story section). Check out the Preview Gallery below for a video on the first area of the hidden lair. Every world has their own entrance area and there are all kinds of secrets planned as well as 10 hidden jiggies. The new lair will have a very similar aesthetic to the original lair. ![]() See the video at the top for visualization. ![]() There I added a new area that leads into the back of Grunty’s Lair. The new part of the lair is accessed through Spiral Mountain by going through the area on top of the waterfall. Therefore the name of the hack references a hidden part of the lair. The HUB is planned to be a new area within the old lair of Grunty: The Backup Lair. All these worlds have their own themes and possibly characters. Of course it also has to stay within my abilities and within the constraints of the software.Īs the description states, 9 worlds + the HUB are planned as actual geometry content. ![]() So the same amount of collectables as the original Banjo Kazooie game, similar level design rules and a similar presentation etc. The Design philosophy for this project is to try and stay consistent with the source material. ![]()
